Check out our brand new RSO Syringes! Read on to learn more about RSO, and if its benefits might be the right fit for you…
RSO, or Rick Simpson Oil, is a potent, concentrated full-spectrum cannabis oil extract designed for oral, sublingual, or topical use. Our syringes offer a robust cannabinoid and terpene profile found in Indica, Sativa and Hybrid cannabis strains.
What is RSO?
RSO (or Rick Simpson Oil named for its founder, Rick Simpson) is a full-spectrum cannabis extract. Full-spectrum extracts capture many of the minor compounds (like cannabinoids, flavonoids, and terpenes) commonly found in the cannabis plant.
Why try RSO?
This type of oil is reported by users to bring about the “entourage effect,” an emerging theory that different cannabis compounds work together to enhance each other’s effects. The entourage effect is thought to provide the maximum benefit from the cannabis plant, as it’s thought that these compounds work better together than they do alone.
How do I use RSO?
RSO can be ingested in a variety of ways, but first, we recommend gently heating the syringe to get the oil moving. RSO is a very thick extract, and heating the oil makes it easier to use. Seal the syringe in a plastic baggie, and then submerge the baggie in warm water for a few minutes until you reach a workable consistency.
RSO can be directly mixed into food or drinks or taken sublingually (under your tongue), however, we recommend first putting the product on an intermediary device, like a spoon, to avoid ingesting more than your desired dose.
How much should I take?
As with all cannabis products, we advise new users to start low and go slow. This is especially important with RSO because it is so highly concentrated. RSO is incredibly potent, and we recommend starting with a drop about half the size of a grain of rice. Wait up to two hours to see how you feel, and use as needed throughout the day to maintain your desired level of effect.
